Non-profit startup ReAllocate did a pretty cool project at Burning Man. They had a stand at the festival were visitors could be captured with 3D software and converted into a 3D model. The 3D models were then 3D printed with a Cubify 3D printer, and there you have it, a miniature statue of yourself!
But that wasn’t all. When the customer was scanned, he didn’t have to wait around for the print to finish. He got a GPS responder and as soon as the print was finished, it was attached to a multi-copter and with the help of GPS delivered to the client wherever he was. Check out the video.
